Also, Nasser insisted on building Cairo Tower to stand as a clear everlasting proof of the union and alliance Egypt has with the Arab world.
However, there is a nice revolving restaurant at the top of the tower.
Also, there is a cafe that offers all kinds of drinks and light snacks.
Cairo Tower is considered an architectural gem and they build it in the shape of the most important plant in the life of the ancient Egyptians, the lotus.

The Fatimid army leader Gawhar Al-Saqlabi build Cairo for the Muslims who were of Shia sect in 969 AD.

All gates destroyed except for three gates that still exist.
